6 teams of 4 fished with two from St Ives. A very consistent match from results in all four sections of six anglers. D section was an unknown as it was pegged at the Rowing Club end and we have not fished this area for some time. Both myself and the mighty Sick Note was on this section with Mick coming 2nd in the section with a 7lb plus weight the winner taking 10lb from the first peg put of the bay.

C section was won by the Bombardier from peg 19 a peg rarely fished but that screams fish when you look at it, Nigel had over 13lb of Roach to win the section and the match with Amwer from St Ives Lions team weighing over 11lb for second in the match and section. B section was won with 11lb with a big 8lb in second and finally Sir Stan winning A section with 8lb plus just pipping Torbs with 8lb dead.

As this is a team game Stanjays gold took the cup with an excellent 7pts with St Ives Tigers beating St Ives Lions by 1 pt for second and third respectively, it just shows local knowledge does help.

Roach are along the length of the Meadow currently and this proves it but Wheat did not work in the main with Bread Punch being far more successful followed by Pinkies.

This week back to the humble club match with Sir Stan and Torbs now starting the winter league us normal anglers will make up the party. Bob, Breamy and myself are fishing with Mick a maybe please let me or Mick know if you are fishing we continue to draw at 7.00 and fish 8.00 till 1.00 until October when we change to an 8.00 draw. We will continue on the Meadow this week with the fish still being on the section for the  next few weeks or until the really cold stuff turns up.
