The glorious 16th is with us at last after three long months, and it’s been good to see anglers back on the bank. Thanks to the efforts of those attending the work parties, all platforms and pegs on the high bank on Hemingford Meadow and Meadow Lane have been strimmed. Early reports sound positive, with roach, chub, dace and perch all caught on opening day.
